Mid/Senior PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, analytical Mid/Senior PHP Developer to join a cross-location team based in Kaunas and Spain, collaborating closely with our client in the Netherlands. You will help build and maintain in-house trading systems used by trading, risk and mid-office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Laravel‑based applications, supporting both new features and legacy codebases (Laravel 8‑11).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Kaunas, Spain and the Netherlands, ensuring fast feedback loops and high‑quality delivery.

• Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Laravel 10/11 (and experience with Laravel 8/9).
• PHP 8.3+.
• MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Git and GitHub PR workflow.
• Kafka and Avro schemas (producers, consumers, Schema Registry).
• Jira, Docker, CI/CD tools (PHPStan, PHPCS, PHPUnit, ESLint).
• Unit and integration testing, Test‑Driven Development.
• AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge, AWS services (ECR, S3), Redis caching, MSSQL.
