Offensive Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

As an Offensive Cyber Security Engineer at Hostinger you will protect the company’s hosting platform, control panel, APIs and cloud infrastructure as well as AI‑driven products by thinking like an attacker. You will actively find, exploit and help fix security weaknesses before they affect customers.

Key responsibilities

• Run penetration tests and targeted attack simulations against web applications, APIs and Linux‑based hosting infrastructure.
• Identify multi‑tenant risks such as privilege escalations, isolation breakouts and account‑takeover paths.
• Tri­age, reproduce and prioritize external vulnerability reports from bug‑bounty programs.
• Automate repetitive testing tasks with custom tooling, reconnaissance pipelines and regression checks.
• Test new features, including AI‑powered products, for prompt injection, data leakage and agent abuse.
• Write clear, actionable reports and share attacker‑mindset knowledge through walkthroughs, internal CTFs and code reviews.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of penetration testing, application security or red‑team engagements.
• Hands‑on experience with CTF platforms, HackTheBox, TryHackMe or public bug‑bounty programs.
• Strong understanding of web and API vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 and beyond).
• Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Ethical, curious mindset and a habit of learning from personal hacking experiments.
• Excellent written English; findings must be understandable and fixable.
