On-Site SEO Specialist

About the role

Do you pride yourself on being the person who can actually find anything online? The Surfshark SEO team is looking for an On‑Site SEO Specialist to optimise the company’s website and drive a steady flow of organic traffic across multiple search engines. You’ll work at the intersection of tech, content and localisation alongside on‑site, off‑page and technical SEO specialists, content producers, copywriters and web content specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organic growth through on‑site SEO, focusing on localized markets.
• Identify and act on new SEO opportunities from competitor analysis, search trends and keyword research.
• Improve existing content with a data‑driven, user‑first approach.
• Run content production, coordinating with writers, localisation managers and WordPress designers.
• Monitor, analyse and report on SEO performance.
• Experiment with AI Search optimisation and implement successful tactics.
• Sharpen workflows through automation.
• Track global SEO trends and apply smart strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience driving organic growth through smart SEO strategy.
• Solid grasp of SEO best practices.
• Confidence with SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs and Google Search Console.
• Ability to create content that is both readable and rank‑friendly.
• Analytical, data‑driven decision‑making.
• Habit of tracking AI Search developments and testing what works.
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with international SEO and multilingual websites.
