Parcel Logistics Manager

About the role

Bison is seeking a Parcel Logistics Manager to own the economics and performance of its US parcel shipping network, which is operated from our Kaunas office. You will combine analytical rigor with commercial negotiation to protect order‑level margin and ensure carriers meet their service commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Own ground shipping economics, track cost as a % of revenue and drive continuous margin improvement.
• Hold carriers accountable to contracted SLAs (delivery, transit time, damage, loss, billing accuracy) and resolve issues directly.
• Lead negotiations with UPS, FedEx and other carriers, model rate scenarios and quantify business impact.
• Analyze large shipment datasets to surface cost patterns, outliers and optimization opportunities.
• Maintain precalculated shipping rates across the catalog and update them with each carrier agreement change.
• Run quarterly business reviews with primary carriers, bring data, track commitments and enforce accountability.
• Advise internal teams (Supplier Management, Marketplace, Customer Service) on shipping cost implications.
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in parcel shipping, ground logistics or transportation pricing, preferably in e‑commerce or high‑volume environments.
• Hands‑on experience negotiating carrier contracts (UPS, FedEx or equivalent) and modeling rate scenarios.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong understanding of parcel pricing mechanics such as zone‑based rates, dimensional weight, fuel surcharges and accessorial fees.
• Comfortable working with large shipment datasets and turning service data into actionable decisions.
