Payroll & People Operations Specialist

About the role

Join Volvo Group Lithuania as a Payroll & People Operations Specialist, where you will ensure accurate and timely payroll while supporting employees and managers throughout their journey. This role blends precise payroll execution with a strong focus on employee experience and People & Culture initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure accurate, timely monthly payroll processing.
• Prepare, review and validate payroll data, including salary changes, bonuses, absences and benefits.
• Manage payroll inputs and cooperate with internal and external partners.
• Respond to employee and manager payroll queries and ensure compliance with Lithuanian legislation and company policies.
• Support payroll reporting, reconciliations and year‑end activities, and identify opportunities to simplify processes.
• Provide day‑to‑day support on People & Culture processes, benefits administration and employee data maintenance.
• Prepare HR reports and contribute to local and global P&C initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in payroll, HR or combined payroll‑HR roles.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian employment and payroll legislation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data.
• Confidence working with HR/payroll systems and strong Excel skills.
• Very good Lithuanian and English language proficiency.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Required skills

• Experience with HR/payroll information systems.
