About the role
The Purchasing Manager will lead the procurement process for a wood‑based furniture and components manufacturer, ensuring efficient sourcing, supplier negotiations and strategic supply solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and conduct procurement tenders.
- Negotiate with existing and potential suppliers.
- Identify new suppliers and integrate them into the supply chain.
- Ensure purchased raw materials meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and strengthen long‑term supplier relationships.
- Analyse market trends and propose optimisation measures.
- Prepare and manage supplier contracts.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of successful experience in procurement.
- Higher education (university degree) in a social‑science field.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail and analytical thinking.
