About the role
Join our team as a Powerplant Engineer and take responsibility for the airworthiness, performance monitoring and technical management of aircraft engines and APUs. You will work closely with OEMs, maintenance organisations and internal teams to ensure safe, reliable and cost‑effective fleet operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) programmes, analyse performance data and issue technical recommendations.
- Control and track life‑limited, hard‑time and time‑controlled engine and APU components, maintaining accurate records.
- Manage back‑to‑birth records, technical documentation and configuration data for powerplant components.
- Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives, Mandatory Service Bulletins and Operational Directives.
- Review non‑mandatory Service Bulletins and advise on safety, reliability and economic impacts.
- Provide engineering support for engine and APU troubleshooting, configuration and component applicability.
- Liaise with OEMs, repair organisations and technical stakeholders to resolve powerplant issues.
- Plan and coordinate engine shop visits, removals/ installations and related maintenance activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of EASA Part‑M, Part‑CAMO and Part‑145 continuing airworthiness requirements.
- Familiarity with gas‑turbine engines CFM56‑5B/7B, V2500 and associated APUs.
- Experience with maintenance information systems, preferably OASES.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- EASA Part‑M, Part‑CAMO and Part‑145 compliance.
- CFM56‑5B/7B and V2500 engine knowledge.
- APU system expertise.
- OASES maintenance information system.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
