Powerplant Engineer

About the role

Join our team as a Powerplant Engineer, supporting airworthiness and technical management of aircraft engines and APUs. You will monitor engine performance, control life‑limited components, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide engineering support to maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) programs, analyse performance data and issue technical recommendations.
• Control and track life‑limited, hard‑time and time‑controlled engine and APU components, maintaining accurate records.
• Manage back‑to‑birth records, technical documentation and configuration data for engines and APUs.
• Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives, Mandatory Service Bulletins and Operational Directives.
• Liaise with OEMs, repair organisations and technical stakeholders to resolve power‑plant issues.
• Plan and coordinate engine shop visits, removals, installations and related maintenance activities.
• Support reliability investigations, identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of EASA Part‑M, Part‑CAMO, Part‑145 and continuing airworthiness requirements.
• Understanding of gas‑turbine engines CFM56‑5B/7B, V2500 and APUs.

Required skills

• EASA Part‑M, Part‑CAMO, Part‑145 regulations.
• Experience with maintenance information systems, preferably OASES.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
