PR Editor (English speaker)

About the role

As a PR Editor on the global Editorial Team at Notified, you will review and format client press releases under tight deadlines and distribute them through the GlobeNewswire network. The role focuses on editing accuracy and customer service, without original writing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Review press releases for grammatical, spelling errors and inconsistencies, ensuring formatting matches the client’s original version.
• Distribute press releases via the global network to journalists, terminals and websites.
• Support clients via phone and email with various requests, including regulatory filings (SEDAR, EDGAR) and account maintenance.
• Act as primary contact for administrative and consultative client needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑2 years of professional experience, preferably in news‑wire or fast‑paced customer service.
• Proficiency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong multi‑tasking, time‑management and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English grammar and spelling.
• Familiarity with newswire distribution platforms and regulatory filing systems (SEDAR, EDGAR).
