About the role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to head our primary school within the Pažinimo medis ecosystem. The role involves ensuring high‑quality education, fostering a safe and innovative learning environment, and driving continuous improvement across all school activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the primary school, guaranteeing academic excellence, student progress, and a safe learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement the school’s educational direction, coordinating curriculum delivery and quality‑enhancement initiatives.
• Motivate, mentor, and develop the school staff, promoting professional growth and a cohesive culture.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, maintain open dialogue, resolve sensitive issues, and strengthen community trust.
• Manage school processes, resources, and budget efficiently.
• Support admissions efforts and reinforce families’ confidence in the school.
• Ensure compliance with administrative, legal, and data‑protection regulations.
• Represent the school publicly and enhance its reputation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in education or service‑oriented organizations, with responsibility for daily operations and results.
• Deep understanding of the Lithuanian education system, primary‑education legislation, and a master’s degree in educational leadership or management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to handle sensitive situations, and foster a trust‑based culture.
• Independent, analytical, and reputable professional committed to responsible leadership and modern pedagogy.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods, international projects, or quality‑change initiatives (preferred).
• Knowledge of budget planning, resource management, and financial logic (preferred).
• Working proficiency in English and comfortable use of modern technologies (preferred).
