Purchaser – Procurement of Electronic Parts & Materials

About the role

The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and buying electronic components, metal products and other raw materials essential for the company's operations. This role ensures a smooth supply chain by managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and maintaining accurate purchasing records.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute purchases of electronic parts, metal products and other raw materials.
• Administer accounts and related documentation in line with company procedures.
• Select and evaluate suppliers, collect data on new vendors and maintain supplier files.
• Communicate with suppliers, conduct negotiations and obtain required documentation.
• Resolve procurement‑related issues promptly to avoid production delays.
• Work with the BC accounting program to record transactions and monitor budgets.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of MS Office / O365, especially Excel.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Effective negotiation, planning and organisational abilities.
• Analytical and critical thinking with quick orientation to problems.
• High level of diligence and responsibility.
