PV and BESS Service Engineer

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking a PV and BESS Service Engineer to join its team in Vilnius. The role involves delivering pre‑sales, engineering, and on‑site maintenance support for photovoltaic and battery energy storage systems, ensuring high‑quality service for customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during pre‑sales activities, including testing and workshops.
• Supervise project engineering processes, conduct kick‑off meetings, oversee hardware/software, and perform acceptance testing.
• Carry out site surveys, installations, commissioning, and on‑site troubleshooting in collaboration with engineering partners.
• Deliver SLM and TLM support, manage major on‑site issues, and execute network upgrades and swaps.
• Monitor and improve on‑site operation quality through analysis and process updates.
• Supervise MV transformers (up to 35 kV AC / 1500 V DC) and operate safely in outdoor environments.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in solar energy, medium‑voltage systems, or related commissioning services.
• Hands‑on experience with solar, medium‑voltage systems and transformer stations.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian and a valid driving licence.
