About the role

Key responsibilities
- Write manual and automated tests to conduct complex functional‑integration tests and verify acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional testing in web/desktop applications and back‑end systems.
- Support, maintain, and improve all related test documentation.
- Report software defects and collaborate across multiple development teams to resolve them.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to ensure high‑quality products.
- Apply Agile principles effectively in day‑to‑day activities.
- Advocate for product quality within a cross‑functional development team.
- Contribute to feature testing strategies and actively participate in QA Guild discussions.
- Help make the release process smooth while maintaining the highest quality.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and support best testing practices.
- Bring your own ideas and initiatives – there is space for creativity and innovation.
- Ensure the product meets high‑quality standards for deployment.
Required profile
- Proven experience in quality assurance with a focus on backend and API testing.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Strong experience in test case design, feature test plans, and managing test execution.
- Experience performing regression, functional, smoke, and ad‑hoc testing.
- Experience with test automation.
- Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Understanding of complex technical systems, e.g., microservice‑based architecture.
- Desire for quality in all aspects of the shippable product.
- Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies and working in software development teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
