QA Engineer – Manual & Automation (Mid‑Senior)

About the role

Join the team behind the world’s most advanced VPN, Threat Protection Pro, and the NordLynx protocol. As a QA Engineer you will help millions protect their online security, privacy, and data by ensuring high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Write manual and automated tests for complex functional and integration scenarios.
• Perform functional testing of web, desktop, and back‑end systems.
• Maintain and improve test documentation.
• Report defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA peers to deliver high‑quality products.
• Apply Agile principles and advocate for product quality within cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute to feature testing strategies and QA Guild discussions.
• Support smooth release processes while maintaining top‑notch quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance with a focus on backend and API testing.
• Strong experience in test case design, feature test planning, and test execution.
• Hands‑on experience with regression, functional, smoke, and ad‑hoc testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban methodologies and working in software development teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• API testing tools such as Postman (or similar).
• REST API testing.
• Test automation experience.
• GitLab and GitLab CI.
• Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of microservice‑based architectures.
• Agile/Kanban workflow knowledge.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
