Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

iToDEV is looking for a hands‑on Quality Assurance Engineer to own and expand its quality engineering direction. You will work on real web and mobile projects, turning quality risks into reliable technical solutions and embedding quality checks into the delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse specifications, user journeys, architecture and code changes to identify hidden quality risks.
• Define and implement the appropriate mix of end‑to‑end tests, API checks, visual regression, accessibility, performance, security and exploratory testing.
• Build, maintain and integrate automated quality flows into project repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leverage AI coding agents to research approaches, generate tests, investigate failures and improve existing flows.
• Convert repetitive manual regression into stable automation while applying exploratory testing where human judgement adds value.
• Investigate flaky tests and noisy pipelines to ensure reliable results.
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, PMs and designers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in quality engineering, test automation or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, test architecture and risk‑based testing.
• Ability to work with code, Git, repositories, APIs and CI/CD environments.
• Proven experience building or significantly improving at least one automated quality flow.
• Self‑starter who can choose suitable frameworks and test types without waiting for direction.
