Quality Specialist (QPE) – Automotive Production

About the role
The Quality Specialist (QPE) ensures that all production processes meet customer, internal, legal and Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements. You will lead structured problem‑solving activities, coordinate quality containment actions and support audits across serial automotive production.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with customer, internal, legal and CoP requirements throughout serial production.
- Drive structured problem‑solving using PSCS, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and other quality tools.
- Lead investigations of quality issues, identify root causes and coordinate containment, corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate sorting activities and quality containment actions with production and external service providers.
- Monitor, evaluate and analyse quality KPIs, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Plan, perform and follow up on product and process audits, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
- Support internal, customer, certification and IATF 16949 audits, handling preparation, execution and closure of findings.
- Verify fulfillment of product requirements according to engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Process Quality or Automotive Quality.
- Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and methodologies.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, product specifications, engineering requirements and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional, international teams.
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken.
