Risk Officer – Control Testing

About the role

Join a dynamic team within Danske Bank’s Controls Office to help build a robust testing and control framework for operational and data risk areas. You will act as a trusted partner to the business, promoting an inclusive risk culture across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret test or control results to highlight effective practices and improvement areas across business units.
• Develop and implement comprehensive control operations, including test scripts, frequency, and automation opportunities for key controls.
• Support escalation of results and monitoring for senior management and governing risk committees.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in non‑financial risk management, particularly operational risk or control operational roles.
• Strong ability to identify underlying risk drivers, trends and propose process and control improvements.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Higher education; knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
