Road Works Manager

About the role

The Road Works Manager oversees the planning, coordination and supervision of road construction activities, including access roads, internal roads and crane platforms. The role ensures that all works comply with technical documentation, project requirements and the construction schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise road construction, earthworks, subbase and pavement works.
• Ensure proper geometry, load‑bearing capacity and readiness of roads for heavy transport.
• Monitor route parameters such as turning radii, gradients and load limits.
• Manage subcontractors for road and earthworks, aligning their progress with the overall schedule.
• Identify and control risks related to excavations, heavy equipment and transport routes.
• Prepare progress reports and construction documentation.

Required profile

• Authorization to control road works (registration in the SSVA system).
• Knowledge of Lithuanian construction law and administrative procedures.
• Proven experience in a similar road or earthworks construction position.
• Technical education, preferably in Civil Engineering.
• Category B driving licence.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English (minimum B1); Polish is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Lithuanian construction law.
