RTR Analyst – General Ledger Accountant

About the role

As an RTR Analyst (GL Accountant) you will support month‑end and year‑end closing, prepare and analyse financial reports and ensure accurate, timely reporting. You will work closely with operational accounting teams, senior stakeholders and auditors to maintain high standards of financial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform month‑end and year‑end closing processes, preparing and analysing monthly and annual financial reports.
• Review balance‑sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigate variances and drive resolution of outstanding items.
• Validate journal entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and internal controls.
• Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.
• Review, improve and optimise accounting processes.

Required profile

• Experience in record‑to‑report or general accounting within a shared services or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ERP systems.
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
