Senior Accountant

About the role

Finora Bank, an ECB‑licensed specialist bank, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Finance team in Vilnius. You will support daily accounting and financial reporting for the bank’s loan and deposit portfolios while working closely with experienced finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Record and reconcile loan disbursements, repayments, interest, fees and other movements in Business Central, and maintain the loan sub‑ledger.
• Account for deposit portfolio activity, calculate monthly interest accruals, and reconcile balances with the core banking system.
• Post monthly interest income, expense accruals, loan origination fee deferrals (IFRS 9) and expected credit loss allowances, write‑offs and recoveries.
• Prepare loan and deposit data for financial statements, management and regulatory reporting (FINREP, COREP) and resolve discrepancies.
• Process purchase invoices via Fitek, set up approval workflows, register them in Business Central and store supporting documents in SharePoint.
• Issue and maintain sales invoices and reconcile monthly cost invoice summaries against revenue reports.
• Support the Finance function, onboard new team members and interns, and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (or current studies).
• Strong understanding of IFRS, accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Fluent written and spoken Lithuanian and English.
• Attention to detail, disciplined accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
