Senior Back-End Software Engineer

About the role

Inventi is a fast‑growing fintech company building payment gateways, regulatory reporting connectors and verification of payee solutions. As a Senior Back‑End Software Engineer you will lead the design and delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure services within the JVM ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core components of payments and compliance products using Java/Kotlin.
• Write clean, well‑tested, production‑ready code and drive technical decisions within the squad.
• Own solution design, set engineering standards, review code and mentor junior engineers.
• Shape architectural choices for micro‑services, event‑driven systems and scalability.
• Continuously improve performance, resilience and security of existing systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience with JVM languages (Java, Kotlin) and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Strong background in containerisation (Docker) and distributed, event‑driven architectures.
• Proven ability to make and defend technical decisions and to help other engineers grow.
• Curiosity and proactive mindset to understand product impact beyond code.
