Senior Controlling Manager – Technology Finance Partner

About the role

As a Senior Controlling Manager for Technology, you will act as the finance partner for R&D investments and assets, ensuring transparent governance, robust business cases and measurable value creation across an international organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop financial insights and partner with Technology and R&D stakeholders.
• Manage R&D controlling, including project tracking, budgeting and asset governance.
• Prepare and validate business cases for technology and investment projects.
• Oversee financial planning, reporting and variance analysis.
• Enhance transparency through dashboards and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in business controlling, preferably within R&D or technology environments.
• Proven experience with investment analysis, business case preparation and FP&A.
• Knowledge of asset accounting for both intangible and tangible assets.
• Experience working in international or matrix organisations.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Power BI for reporting and dashboards
