Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our startup as our first DevOps hire. You will drive the evolution and scaling of our AWS‑focused cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability and high performance as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Define, optimise and expand the company’s DevOps strategy and roadmap.
• Maintain, scale and secure AWS infrastructure, including EKS, RDS, S3 and related services.
• Refine CI/CD pipelines and standardise deployment workflows across teams.
• Enhance monitoring and observability using DataDog and CloudWatch.
• Establish security, cost‑optimisation and operational best practices.
• Mentor developers and future DevOps engineers.
• Own incident response processes and ensure production stability.

Required profile

• Fully autonomous in leading DevOps initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Deep hands‑on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Proven track record of scaling and maintaining production systems in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian.
