Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Dematic is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its Lithuanian team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering complex, high‑quality electrical systems that power innovative automated warehouse solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design inputs and create detailed control system designs.
• Produce CE‑compliant electrical layouts, schematics and drawing packages using CAD tools.
• Develop design calculations, specifications, operation & maintenance manuals, and test specifications.
• Manage procurement of control panels, coordinate with suppliers and support installation teams.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and act as a backup for service‑related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and champion productivity‑boosting ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in automation or intralogistics.
• Strong knowledge of CE Machinery Directive compliance.
• Ability to lead technically complex projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

• Electrical CAD (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical)
