Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Join the Customer Capabilities tribe at Danske Bank to build technology that powers everyday banking for millions of customers. You will work in a cross‑functional team delivering end‑to‑end solutions across fees, interest, tax reporting and customer communication, supporting high‑volume digital banking experiences at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reliable systems that support everyday banking products and customer‑facing services.
• Shape the design and architecture of resilient, high‑quality software solutions.
• Apply robust engineering and security practices to cloud‑native applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers and engineers to turn business needs into seamless end‑to‑end solutions.
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and deliver complex projects with tangible impact.
• Strengthen an agile culture built on collaboration, continuous learning and respect for different perspectives.
• Apply agentic AI capabilities where they can improve outcomes, efficiency or service quality.

Required profile

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field; AWS or similar certifications are a plus.
• A proactive, curious mindset with strong ownership and a structured problem‑solving approach.
• Hands‑on experience with React.js (or React Native) and modern React patterns such as Hooks, Context API and Redux.
• Expertise in .NET or Java and experience building microservices using containers (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, Git/GitHub, logging, monitoring and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Understanding of customer‑first principles and exposure to customer‑facing products is advantageous.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with advanced English proficiency.
