Senior Legal Counsel – Financial Incentives

About the role

Invest Lithuania is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Financial Incentives team. You will provide strategic legal guidance on complex financial incentive projects and support both internal teams and investors across regulatory, state aid, contractual, and corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare strategic legal guidance for internal teams and investors throughout investment project preparation and implementation.
• Advise on the development, design, and improvement of incentive measures and related legislation.
• Lead legal analysis, draft regulations, and issue legal opinions to enhance the business environment.
• Represent Invest Lithuania with government institutions, partners, and other agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a lawyer.
• Fluency in spoken and written Lithuanian and English.
• High autonomy, problem‑solving ability and clear presentation skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Lithuanian legal acts.
• Experience with state aid law and legislative processes (advantageous).
• Experience advising international clients (advantageous).
