Senior Product Engineer - Lifecycle Team

About the role

WeTravel is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to lead the Traveler Lifecycle team. You will shape the ecosystem of tools and workflows that help travel organizers run and grow their businesses efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end feature development, from user research and design through architecture, implementation, deployment and production monitoring.
• Partner closely with product managers to uncover organizer pain points and design world‑class solutions.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code for both frontend (TypeScript/React) and backend (Ruby on Rails) services.
• Ensure system reliability by building resilient applications, setting up monitoring, and handling on‑call incidents.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering best practices across the organization.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience with a strong product ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to design, build, and operate distributed, micro‑service and event‑driven systems at scale.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in multicultural, distributed teams.
