Site Manager / Project Manager – Timber Construction

About the role

You will run our mass‑timber construction sites from the moment a project is won until handover. Acting as the face of Effective Solutions on general‑contractor sites across Europe, you will lead 4‑10‑person crews, manage schedules, cranes and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assembly projects end‑to‑end, including planning, mobilisation, execution and handover.
• Manage the site crew, daily rhythm and safety drills for crane and work‑at‑height operations.
• Own the client relationship on site – daily reports, look‑aheads and variations.
• Guard budget assumptions by monitoring schedule, crane hours and scope.
• Rotate between sites in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and the Vilnius office.

Required profile

• Proven experience running construction sites or projects, preferably with timber, prefab or façade structures.
• Ability to read structural drawings and technical documentation, and to work with 3D/IFC files.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Calm under crane pressure, tidy, direct and professional.
• Willingness to travel on a typical 6‑weeks‑on / 1‑week‑off rotation.
