Software Quality Analyst II – Hybrid (Vilnius/Kaunas)

About the role

Bentley Systems is looking for a meticulous Software Quality Analyst II to join the ProjectWise team. The role is hybrid, based in Vilnius or Kaunas, and focuses on validating functionality, performance, and stability of critical infrastructure software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including detailed test plans, user scenarios, and manual test cases for new and existing features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects with clear, actionable information for development teams.
• Perform rigorous manual testing (regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory) to ensure product stability.
• Champion quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Analyze test results, generate quality metrics reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Set up and manage complex test environments aligned with project requirements.
• Participate in shaping the automated testing strategy by identifying areas for automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Proactive ownership of product quality and ability to identify issues early.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous situations and creating test cases from incomplete requirements.
• Foundational technical knowledge of test environment setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English.
