Specialist in Cross Border Outgoing & Manual Payments

About the role

Join the Cross Border Outgoing & Manual Payments team at Danske Bank, where you will ensure client funds are correctly routed despite formatting or technical issues. You will work on a limited but critical set of payment exceptions, providing high‑quality service to customers across the Nordic region.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve payment‑related issues received from branches, customers and internal teams via internal systems, Outlook and phone.
• Process transactions within strict cut‑off deadlines.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives from both customer and system perspectives.
• Handle high‑value payment requests while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with other operational teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in financial operations, back‑office or payment processing.
• Higher education degree.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team under pressure.
• Collaborative mindset with a positive, innovative attitude.
• Upper‑intermediate English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• SWIFT knowledge (beneficial for quicker onboarding).
