Staff Business Intelligence Analyst – Procurement Analytics

About the role

Dexcom is seeking a Staff Business Intelligence Analyst to partner with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations teams. The analyst will turn complex procurement data into actionable insights that support strategic sourcing, spend optimization and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with global category managers to define KPIs, reporting standards and data governance for direct and indirect procurement.
• Design, build and maintain scalable dashboards, scorecards and self‑service reporting solutions using BI tools.
• Analyze spend patterns, cost‑reduction opportunities, supplier performance trends and supply‑chain risks.
• Support data integration, transformation and validation from ERP, financial and operational systems while ensuring data quality.
• Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and executive business reviews.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience creating analytics solutions with Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms.
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of data‑warehousing and data‑modelling concepts.
• Experience supporting Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain or Operations functions.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa or Oracle.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to translate large data sets into clear business recommendations.
