Staff Product Designer – Marketplace

About the role

Vinted is Europe’s largest second‑hand fashion platform and is looking for a Staff Product Designer to raise the design bar for its Marketplace product. You will join the design leadership team, work closely with senior product managers and engineers, and help shape strategic solutions for complex, consumer‑scale problems.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects that deliver measurable impact and define the right work without waiting for a brief.
• Raise the capability of individual contributors through pair work, critique, and direct coaching.
• Influence product managers and engineers to reference design principles in their decisions.
• Drive the evolution of design standards as business, technology, and user contexts change.
• Experiment with AI‑powered workflows, systematise them, and communicate their impact for both users and internal processes.
• Turn ambiguous signals into investable opportunities and secure senior stakeholder commitment.
• Produce work that sets a higher bar for the team and calibrates others to it.
• Earn senior leadership trust through sound judgment, clear narratives, and confidence in big design bets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product design experience for consumer‑scale digital products, with marketplace experience a strong plus.
• A portfolio that demonstrates taste, judgment and shipped impact.
• Proactive attitude – you move work forward without being asked.
• Hands‑on experience using AI in design, prototyping and automation workflows.
• Sharp eye for quality, knowing when the last 1% matters.
• Steady and comfortable navigating slow, contested or unglamorous work.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, knowing when to dive deep and when to ship.
• Proven track record of changing how an organisation works, not just what it ships.
