Strategy and Market Intelligence Analyst

About the role

The Strategy & Market Intelligence Analyst supports strategic decision‑making across Cencora’s business by combining structured problem solving, commercial judgment, market intelligence, and rigorous analysis. The role works on priority initiatives such as growth strategy, market entry, portfolio choices, partnerships, M&A screening, and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Structure complex, ambiguous business questions into hypothesis‑driven workplans and identify drivers of performance and competitive advantage.
• Assess growth opportunities across service lines, customer segments, regions and countries, building business cases, scenarios and sensitivities.
• Develop fact‑based perspectives on market size, growth, customer demand and competitive dynamics, and identify emerging patterns and disruption risks.
• Support M&A screening, partnership assessments and strategic due‑diligence, creating market landscapes and investment narratives.
• Produce executive‑ready PowerPoint materials that distill large volumes of information into concise insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Strategy, Economics, Business, Finance, Life Sciences, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development or market intelligence, preferably in a top‑tier consulting firm or high‑performing internal strategy team.
• Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical ability, strategic judgment, intellectual curiosity and personal ownership.
