Structural Design Engineer – Reinforcement Products

About the role

A rapidly growing steel manufacturer supplying steel structures and metal products across more than 15 European countries is hiring a Structural Design Engineer in Vilnius. The engineer designs reinforcement products for real European projects such as bridges, tunnels, ports and data centres, turning client drawings into production-ready models, specifications and installation drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Design reinforcement products and enter them into the production preparation software
• Detail reinforcement products based on client drawings
• Prepare installation drawings and specifications for reinforcement products
• Communicate with clients and coordinate structural solutions

Required profile

• Education in civil engineering
• Experience with reinforcement, reinforcement drawings or detailing reinforcement cages
• Accuracy, responsibility, technical thinking and willingness to improve
• Organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• English language skills

Required skills

• Good AutoCAD skills for preparing 2D reinforcement drawings
• Knowledge of BIM technologies and advanced software packages
