Supervisor, Financial Crime Operations

About the role

As a Supervisor, you will leverage your experience and continue your professional development by providing supervision, instructions and feedback to a team who performs Financial Crime investigations. These reviews will cover Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and sanctions compliance requirements, including enhanced due diligence, sanctions and politically exposed persons screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the production and quality of a team of analysts, performing spot‑checks to ensure quality.
• Provide day‑to‑day quality assurance, monitoring, coaching and feedback across the wider team.
• Monitor adherence to individual and team production and quality metrics.
• Support analysts not meeting standards with one‑on‑one guidance to improve work product.
• Deliver timely, high‑quality outputs to key stakeholders and assist in project governance.
• Administer day‑to‑day schedules and attendance for the analyst team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 2 years of people‑management experience.
• Hands‑on knowledge of multiple AML functions (EDD, KYC, sanctions, transaction monitoring).
• Experience with stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Effective oral and written communication, including compliance report writing.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.

Required skills

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Knowledge of multiple European AML regulations (advantage).
• CAMS or ICA certifications (advantage).
