System Engineer (all genders) with a focus on Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop

About the role

We are looking for a System Engineer who will specialize in Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop solutions. You will work closely with customers to design, implement and maintain high‑availability virtual environments while ensuring performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements, design tailored virtualization concepts and manage end‑to‑end technical implementation.
• Develop stable, sustainable solutions and implement them independently.
• Build, operate and monitor highly available Citrix virtualization environments to guarantee zero downtime.
• Continuously optimise infrastructure performance and introduce improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues alone or within a team, delivering pragmatic solutions.
• Produce clear documentation and user instructions for customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• IT‑related degree or equivalent training.
• Several years of experience with Citrix Virtual Apps, Provisioning Services, NetScaler/ADC and FSLogix.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policies, networking and virtualization concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and Intune.
• Analytical mindset, ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Business‑level English; German is a plus.
