System Engineering Team Lead

About the role

Dematic is seeking a System Engineering Team Lead in Lithuania to head a team of specialists integrating warehouse automation systems. You will drive engineering excellence, ensure project delivery, and develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support the System Engineering team, conducting performance reviews and fostering technical excellence.
• Coordinate resource planning, project allocation and capacity forecasting across EMEA projects.
• Provide hands‑on support for system integration activities and ensure solutions meet contractual, functional and throughput requirements.
• Review regional sales proposals for compliance with standards and testing strategies.
• Promote global processes, engineering best practices and continuous improvement using tools such as Jira.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical teams in an engineering or industrial automation environment.
• Technical background in systems integration, automation, controls or mechatronics.
• Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and ability to balance operational priorities with long‑term planning.
• Full working proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Jira for issue management and project visibility.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
