Tax Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our fast‑growing tax compliance startup. The role involves handling VAT/GST/Sales tax matters for a diverse client base, including Amazon sellers and digital service providers, while supporting the team in delivering efficient tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review clients' sales and purchase supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review VAT/GST/Sales tax returns for clients.
• Communicate daily with clients on VAT/GST/Sales tax questions.
• Provide guidance to entry‑level colleagues on tax issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Act as the single point of contact for client tax queries.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, international or indirect taxation with client interaction.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to learn VAT/GST/Sales tax regulations.
• Attention to detail and proactive attitude.
