Tax Accountant (VAT/GST)

About the role

1stopVAT provides automated tax compliance solutions for clients worldwide, including Amazon sellers and digital service providers. The Tax Accountant will monitor client VAT/GST/Sales tax compliance and support our growing client base.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review clients' sales and purchase supporting documentation.
• Review clients' VAT/GST/Sales tax returns.
• Communicate daily with clients on VAT/GST/Sales tax questions.
• Advise entry‑level colleagues on various VAT/GST/Sales tax issues.
• Identify and implement improvements to daily tasks for greater efficiency.
• Serve as the single point of contact for client VAT/GST/Sales tax queries.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting, international or indirect taxation with client‑facing responsibilities.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to learn VAT/GST/Sales tax regulations.
• Attention to detail and proactive work attitude.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
