Tax Consultant – Global Employer Services (Vilnius)

About the role

As a Tax Consultant in Deloitte's Global Employer Services team, you will work with Lithuanian and international clients on personal taxation, global mobility and cross‑border employment matters. You will support companies and their employees throughout the lifecycle of international assignments while developing technical, client‑management and advisory skills.

Key responsibilities

• Advise companies and individuals on Lithuanian personal income tax, social security and cross‑border employment issues.
• Support international assignments and global mobility cases for employees moving to or from Lithuania.
• Prepare personal income tax calculations, tax returns and assist with other compliance obligations.
• Research tax legislation and devise practical solutions for complex or unusual individual tax and mobility cases.
• Communicate with clients, employees, Lithuanian authorities and Deloitte colleagues across different countries.
• Manage ongoing client work, coordinate deadlines and gradually take ownership of client relationships and complex advisory assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in tax, payroll or a related area.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑service skills with an analytical mindset.
• Proactive, curious and willing to learn, with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.
