Technical Operations Lead

About the role

This is a managerial position in Kaunas, Lithuania, leading the Technical Operations department. The role takes responsibility for the department's presence, activities and actions, covering team leadership, studio equipment and infrastructure, vendor relations and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Technical Operations team, delegate tasks, share information and give feedback
• Manage and take part in studio equipment build processes and plan resources
• Keep project and task timelines
• Organize and take part in studio infrastructure maintenance and repair
• Evaluate suppliers and procure equipment, tools and materials for R&D, building and maintenance
• Take part in R&D and solution design, and in new employee selection and training
• Take part in performance reviews and development planning
• Prepare reports and provide information to management and other departments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in math, engineering, IT or management)
• At least two years of hands-on experience in IT, electronics or engineering
• At least two years of people management experience
• Vendor management experience
• C1 (advanced) English
• Technical background with broadcast equipment; lighting and staging equipment and techniques are an advantage
