Technology Risk Management Specialist

About the role

Join the Technology Risk Assessments and Controls (TRAC) team to help keep Danske Bank safe from technology risk. You will focus on quality assurance of technology risk assessments and related control documentation, working closely with assessors and service owners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform IT risk assessments and support the quality‑assurance function by reviewing assessments against internal frameworks.
• Collaborate with assessors and service owners to resolve gaps and agree next steps.
• Document assessment outcomes clearly and maintain accurate records in workflow tools.
• Identify recurring themes and recommend practical improvements to guidance and processes.
• Contribute to quality reporting and continuous‑improvement activities within the team.

Required profile

• Practical experience in technology risk assessment, quality assurance, or control management.
• Knowledge of reviewing and documenting technology risks with attention to accuracy.
• Understanding of inherent and residual risk, control design, and effectiveness.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as DORA, GDPR, NIST, or ISF SOGP.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
