Upgrade Proposals Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Upgrade Proposals Manager to lead a global team of three Proposal Engineers and own the end‑to‑end preparation of capital equipment and crusher upgrade proposals for our Crushing Service Products business line.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the proposal team, set priorities and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Take full ownership of selected proposals from RFQ review through submission and hand‑over to project execution.
• Maintain proposal governance, standards, templates and compliance with commercial, contractual and risk requirements.
• Develop and continuously improve cost calculation and pricing methodologies for upgrade proposals.
• Drive bid/no‑bid decisions, risk assessments and value‑proposition development in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and external vendors to build technically sound, competitively priced offers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in proposal management, project management, engineering or commercial roles within mining, mechanical or capital equipment sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop cross‑functional teams, drive accountability and deliver results.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to align teams without direct authority.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce and SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications: Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and contractual requirements.
• Expertise in cost estimation, pricing and proposal documentation.
