About the role

The Department of Qualification Assessment is looking for a new team member to evaluate qualifications obtained abroad. The role involves assessing foreign and international credentials, making decisions on academic recognition, and providing consultancy to applicants and Lithuanian institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate foreign and international qualifications and decide on their academic recognition.
• Consult applicants and Lithuanian educational institutions on qualification recognition matters.
• Organise the work of the appeal committee and collect relevant data.
• Analyse information about academic recognition processes.
• Prepare methodological materials, reports and other documentation related to qualification assessment.

Required profile

• Higher university education (bachelor’s degree) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• English proficiency at B2 level; Russian is a plus.
• Fluent Lithuanian meeting official language standards.
• Ability to draft official letters, certificates, protocols and reports.
• Knowledge of laws governing the department, data protection and state document preparation.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Professional communication with stakeholders and adherence to confidentiality and ethics.
