About the role

Join the international DS Smith team as a Business Controller for the Baltic region. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a financial risk management system, coordinating audit processes and group reporting, and ensuring the quality of internal controls and financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an effective financial risk management framework.
• Coordinate internal audit activities and preparation of group reports.
• Monitor compliance with internal control procedures.
• Ensure quality control of financial operations and group‑level reporting.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), understand drivers, and advise business leaders.
• Collaborate with the IT department to meet business requirements.
• Prepare KPI and management reports to support data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis, control, or audit.
• Higher education in economics, finance, or mathematics.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to resolve complex stakeholder issues.
• Result‑oriented and practical approach.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Lithuanian.
