Video Editor – Paid Social Ads

About the role

Nysonian is seeking a Video Editor to create high‑performing paid‑social video ads for its portfolio of global lifestyle brands. You will transform raw footage into compelling, data‑driven ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms, directly influencing purchase decisions and ad spend efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and produce high‑quality video assets for social media, paid ads, websites and campaign initiatives.
• Craft narratives with strong hooks, pacing and platform‑specific storytelling techniques.
• Transform UGC, influencer content and brand footage into polished, performance‑driven deliverables.
• Integrate motion graphics, captions, music and sound design to boost engagement.
• Convert long‑form content into short‑form formats such as TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to align creative with brand and campaign goals.
• Manage multiple projects with fast turnaround while maintaining brand standards.
• Analyze creative performance data and apply learnings to improve future ads.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of video‑editing experience in fast‑paced environments such as agencies, DTC or e‑commerce.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven video tools (e.g., Runway ML) to enhance production efficiency.
• Strong understanding of content formats and performance dynamics on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Meta.
• Ability to edit with a focus on storytelling and measurable marketing outcomes (CTR, conversion, ROAS).
