Web Scraping Engineer - Python (Mid/Senior)

About the role

Oxylabs is looking for a Web Scraping Engineer with strong Python expertise to develop and maintain large‑scale scraping infrastructure handling over 60 PB of monthly data traffic. You will join a diverse team that serves thousands of requests per second for Fortune 500 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable web scrapers and resilient scraping strategies.
• Maintain and enhance the existing scraping & parsing platform, including observability and performance improvements.
• Develop back‑end solutions for complex scraping and parsing problems.
• Unblock websites and work with various scraping techniques and open‑source tools.

Required profile

• Solid experience with Python and version control (Git).
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and computational complexity.
• Familiarity with network security concepts (TLS/SSL) and browser automation.
• Ability to work with asynchronous programming and modern development tools.
