Wind Measurement Technician

About the role
As a Wind Measurement Technician you will combine office‑based technical support with hands‑on work at renewable‑energy sites across Lithuania and Europe. From our Klaipėda office you will monitor LiDAR and meteorological equipment, ensure data flow and respond to any equipment or power‑supply issues.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, configure and test LiDAR and meteorological measurement equipment before deployment.
- Support installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of sensors, data loggers, communication gear, CCTV and remote‑monitoring systems.
- Work with off‑grid power solutions such as batteries and solar PV, and handle related electrical components.
- Monitor deployed systems to verify consistent data reception and perform scheduled inspections.
- Maintain equipment records, installation documentation and service reports.
- Travel within Lithuania and internationally for deployments, training, exhibitions and industry events.
Required profile
- Practical experience installing, maintaining or troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical or telecommunications equipment.
- Ability to read equipment manuals, technical drawings and basic electrical schematics.
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Confidence using computers, online monitoring platforms and standard office software.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel across the EU/EEA.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a small team and to operate outdoors in varying weather conditions.
