Youth Worker – Part‑time in Vilnius Open Youth Centers

About the role

We are looking for motivated Youth Workers to join our team in Vilnius and support young people in several open youth centres across the city. The position is part‑time (0.5 FTE) and offers a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver informal educational activities for youth in the centres “Ponamis”, Spotas, Pulsas, Žvėryne, and “Olimpija”.
• Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and events that promote personal development.
• Manage conflicts, maintain clear boundaries, and ensure a safe environment.
• Collaborate with the team to create inclusive programmes that respond to the needs of young people.

Required profile

• Higher education in social work, psychology, pedagogy or a related field, or a certified youth worker qualification.
• Experience working with young people in a community or educational setting.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and uphold professional boundaries.
• Understanding of informal education principles.
