Experienced Gameplay (C++) Developer

About the role

Join Nordcurrent’s Development Team and help shape world‑class mobile games such as Cooking Fever, Pocket Styler, and Airplane Chefs. Your code will reach millions of players and you’ll collaborate with designers, artists, and QA to bring new features to life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve high‑quality C++/C code for daily‑played games and introduce new gameplay features.
• Collaborate closely with programmers, designers, artists and QA to ensure smooth integration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for new systems.
• Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and stability.
• Share expertise and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Proficiency in game development with C/C++ and Typescript.
• Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and its debugging tools.
• Experience developing for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Understanding of KISS, DRY, YAGNI principles.
• Excellent math, geometry and 3D programming skills.
• Familiarity with optimisation techniques, Jira, Git, MongoDB and Redis.
• Experience with shading and rendering pipelines, networking and physics implementation.
• Curiosity to understand and improve game systems.
• Upper‑intermediate or higher spoken and written English.
